Steve joined Insurance Auto Auctions (IAA) as Director of Client Services and Support in 2014, after 27 years with MAPFRE/Commerce Insurance on the east coast. Today, Steve is responsible for IAA’s Customer Review Program and monitoring more than 166 auction locations for service level agreement compliance.

Given Steve’s insurance experience and perspective, he also is working with company leadership on the development of new offerings that would enhance the insurance customer experience.
While with MARFRE/Commerce, Steve spent 15 years in the Special Investigation area in the Claims Department and then the 12 years in Material Damage where he was responsible for their National Appraisal, Glass and Fleet Operations ending with the position of Material Damage Director.

Steve received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from University of Massachusetts Fitchburg. Steve has been involved with CIECA for the past five years and currently serves as chairman.
