Clint Marlow
Allstate - Clint Marlow
 
For more than 30 years, Clint Marlow has worked within the auto industry. This career path began in 1984 with an automobile dealer in Madison, CT, where he learned the ins and outs of the auto repair business. His next position was as an auto adjuster with the Allstate Insurance Company in the New England market. He continued in this role through 1996 when he relocated to a local office in Memphis, Tenn. After a succession of roles that included field leadership, process expert, quality assurance, and Senior Manager, a promotion to the company’s headquarters brought Clint and his family to the Chicago Illinois area. Clint’s current focus at Allstate centers on forwarding looking research, key strategic projects, and Strategic Partnerships. Clint has been with CIECA for the past four years and currently serves as CIECA’s Past Chair, is the Co - Chairman of the FNOL Committee, and Chairs the CIC Insurer / Repairer Relationship committee.

Scott Jenkins graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 1986 with a degree in Marketing and Finance. The following year, he began working for ADP Claims Solutions Group in Denver, Colorado as a field representative. He relocated to Chicago, Illinois in 1992 to work as an industry consultant and joined ADP’s Product Management group two years later.  In 1996, Scott relocated to Bloomington, Illinois and became Director of Product Management for ADP Claims Services.  
 
Scott joined Solera in 2007 and was named Program Manager for Insurance Sales in 2009.  Since 2011, he has been the Sr. Director of Sales - Strategic Accounts.
 
Scott currently resides in Bloomington with his wife and two children.
Tom McGarry

Tom oversees Industry Relations, ProfitNet, and Dealership Business Segment Strategy.
 
Tom has been in the automotive industry 45 years. The last 30 years in the Collision Industry. Previous collision industry experience includes Regional Jobber Manager for Sherwin Williams, National Sales Manager for Standox North America, North American OEM Manager for Standox, Vice President of ComputerLogic, National Business Development Manager for DuPont Automotive, and IT Services Manager for Axalta Coating Systems. As IT Services Manager, Tom worked with YADA Systems developing the ProfitNet Management System, using CIECA Standards, and installed ProfitNet in over 1,000 of the best Collision Shops and Dealerships in North America.
 
Tom has been an active member and Board Trustee or Delegate of CIECA since 1996. 
 
Tom and his wife Melinda live in St. Augustine, FL have been married for 40 years and have a married son, Chris, daughter in-law Genevieve and grand-daughter Sara.
Ashley Denison

Ashley is the Chief Information Officer of Caliber Collision Centers, the largest collision repair company in the US.  Responsible for Caliber’s enterprise-wide business IT strategy, implementation and operations, Ashley has overseen the transformation of Caliber’s home-grown legacy systems to state-of-the-art management, estimating, financial and cloud-based platforms across more than 1,000 company-owned locations. 
 
Prior to joining Caliber, Ashley was Director of Global Information Technology at AMX, an international audio/visual hardware and software solutions provider with locations across the U.S. and 86 countries around the world.
Greg Best
California Casualty Management - Greg Best
 
Greg Best is a senior business analyst for the claims department at California Casualty Management Company. He has served in various roles in the insurance segment for more than 25 years, including Policy Service, Commercial Underwriting, Business Analysis and Application Development. Prior to working at California Casualty Management, he was employed at Progressive Insurance and Colorado Farm Bureau.
 
Greg joined the CIECA Board of Trustees in 2017 as a result of his interest in standards and his role, which includes working with both the business and information technology (IT) departments.
 
Now, as part of the executive committee, Greg said he would like to help further CIECA’s outreach and see the organization more involved with the OEMs and continue to facilitate communications among all segments in the collision industry.
Jeff Schroder

Jeff Schroder is founding CEO of Car-Part.com, whose leading recycled parts marketplaces serve $5 billion in part searches (quotes) per month. The Integrated Car Part Pro marketplace increases the use of recycled parts in the collision industry with an assembly-optimized workflow. Car-Part's Checkmate inventory management system features fully-integrated vehicle buying, inventorying, production, and part selling (including on eBay). Jeff serves on the CIECA executive team, board, and Parts Procurement committee, and ARA's eCommerce and Recall committees.
Dan Risley
CCC Information Services - Dan Risley
 
Dan Risley is the vice president of Quality Repair and Market Development for CCC Information Services. He has spent the past 28 years working in the collision repair industry. Risley began working in a family-owned and operated collision repair facility in Chicago, Illinois. Upon leaving the family business, he began his career in the industry by working as a refinish sales and service representative for BASF and later as a project manager for CCC Information Services. He spent eight years as the president of the Society of Collision Repair Specialists (SCRS) and most recently, the past five years as the president of the Automotive Service Association (ASA).
 
In his current role, he works closely with the car manufacturers to understand and deliver products and services to meet their changing needs. This includes but is not limited to OEM Certified Collision Repair Programs, electronic parts ordering and first notice of loss after an accident. In addition, he is the subject matter expert within CCC relative to collision repair and repair procedures. 
 
Dan has participated on many board and committees over his career including: Collision Industry Conference (CIC) Database Task Force chair, Collision Industry Conference Data Privacy Committee co-chair, Automotive Management Institute (AMI) board member, Certified Aftermarket Parts Association (CAPA) technical committee, Telematics Task Force member, Database Enhancement Gateway (DEG) board member, State Farm Advisory Council, Taiwan Aftermarket Parts Task Force and National Auto Body Council (NABC).
Richard Palmer
ComputerLogic, Inc. - Richard Palmer
 
Rick Palmer has been involved with the collision repair industry for over 30 years.  During this time he led the development effort for numerous innovative software applications that are used today by all segments of this industry; including repairers, paint and material manufacturers and distributors, and insurers.  As an original member of CIECA, he has served on the Board since 1995 and was the Chairman of the Board of Trustees in 2003.

Mr. Palmer graduated from the University of Georgia with a BBA degree in Accounting, Georgia Southern University with an MBA in Accounting, and from Mercer University’s School of Law with a Juris Doctorate degree.  Before entering business, Rick server as a U. S. Army officer for four years, including a tour of duty in Vietnam as a Dust-Off (medical evacuation) helicopter pilot.  Prior to founding ComputerLogic he practiced law and was an executive officer for several national companies doing business in the automotive aftermarket.
Kim DeVallance Caron

Kim DeVallance Caron is the director of Global Product Development, ARMS® Business Solutions, for Enterprise Holdings, the company that operates the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo Rent-A-Car brands. In her position, Kim provides the direction and strategic vision for the software development of the ARMS® (Automated Rental Management System) Applications and ARMS Business Solutions. These products expand on the current ARMS® product offerings and data solutions by offering a suite of products and services that will help automate the management, communication and workflow of partners within the insurance and collision industry.
 
Kim began her Enterprise career in 1993 in Central Pennsylvania as a management trainee and worked her way up to assistant manager. In 1996, Kim was promoted to Enterprise’s corporate office to work on systems to support the Enterprise rental organization. The following year, Kim was promoted to a new role within the Enterprise organization and was instrumental in the development of the ARMS® software used globally by insurers and repair facilities to streamline the repair and rental process. She was promoted in 2001 to the position of technology and business process manager, and in 2013 took on additional reporting and analytics as a reporting and business process director. In 2016, Kim was promoted to global product development for ARMS® and ARMS® Business Solutions software. 
 
During her career, Kim has been recognized for her contributions to rental management workflow and the ARMS® Applications and is listed as an inventor on numerous issued and pending US Patents.
 
Kim received a bachelor’s degree in business from The University of Delaware in Newark, Delaware. She and her husband, Norm, live in St. Louis with their two children.
Erick Bickett

Erick Bickett has been in the Collision Industry for 28 years. He and his wife started their business, Auto Center Auto Body in 1984. Starting out in a 3,500-sq-ft. facility with four employees, Auto Center Auto Body Inc. now spans over 147,000 -sq-ft. in seven locations with over 180 employees, doing in excess of $20 million in gross revenues annually.
 
Always looking for ways to improve his business and the industry, Erick has been a leader and innovator since the mid 80's devoting countless hours to the collision repair industry.  Leadership roles in local associations led to working on national issues.  In 1995 Erick founded the Collision Industry Electronic Commerce Association (CIECA) a non-profit association organized to standardize E-Commerce and reduce inefficiency in information management.  He remains a lifetime board member and is still active in the association today.  In 1997 he was elected to a 2-year term as the Chairman of the Collision Industry Conference (CIC).  "Body Shop Business" named Erick Bickett Collision Repair Executive of the Year in 1998.  He has also been named by ABRN as one of the top 20 most influential people in the Collision Repair industry.
 
In 1997, Erick Co-Founded FIX USA. FIX USA is an extension of one of the most successful and united independently owned repair shop networks in the world, FIX AUTO in the Province of Quebec, Canada.  FIX USA operates a network of 185 collision repair facilities 20 states and 25 metro markets in the US. 
John Vito

John Vito has worked in the collision repair industry renting vehicles for 30 years. He is currently the Senior Director Replacement Client Solutions and Partnerships at The Hertz Corporation. His career with Hertz began in 2002, and he has held various sales, operations and management positions within the car rental industry. John is a driving force for innovation at Hertz. He has a passion for exploring partnerships and technology solutions focused on providing great customer service and is proud to be part of the collision community. 
Mark Helvenston
Insurance Auto Auctions - Mark Helvenston
 
Mark Helvenston leads the industry relations efforts for IAA, Inc. as the Vice President of Industry Relations and Alliance Partnerships. This includes spearheading strategic partnerships with organizations that support the overall automotive industry. Since joining IAA in 2003, Mark has held several management positions at the company. He also sits on various boards and committees including the Collision Repair Education Foundation (Board of Trustees) and SkillsUSA (National Competition, Technical Committee Member). As a 30-year industry veteran of the automotive claims industry, he was previously Vice President of Sales and Marketing with Greenleaf Acquisitions, a division of Ford Motor Company.
Mike Marlowe

Mike is Vice President of Software Services for LKQ Corporation, Mike is responsible for software development for LKQ and its subsidiaries including Keystone Automotive Industries. Mike has been on the CIECA board since 2007 and has held the positions of Treasurer and Secretary.
 
Mike has been in the IT industry for over 30 years and has held various roles including Director of Ecommerce and CIO for Keystone prior to its acquisition by LKQ in 2007. He also worked for Triad Systems Corporation ( now Epicor ) for 10 years as a Field Engineer.
 
Mike and his family currently resides in the Nashville Tennessee area.
Phil Martinez
Mitchell International - Phil Martinez
 
For more than 35 years, Phil has been involved in the auto industry and employed by Mitchell International for the past 27. He is currently responsible for integrating Mitchell solutions with trading partners across the industry as a Senior Technical Consultant. At Mitchell, he has held various technical positions, most focusing on data integration and implementation of CIECA standards. He has participated and led the development of CIECA standards since CIECA was founded and helped develop EMS, ASC X12, and BMS data standards for the Auto Physical Damage Industry. 
 
Phil represents Mitchell on various CIECA committees. Over the past 22 years, he has co-chaired the VDI and Total Loss committees, is an active participant in the Architecture Committee overseeing the development of the CIECA standards, and is Mitchell International’s Board Member Representative. He has also held the following CIECA Executive Committee positions: Secretary, Treasurer, Vice Chairman, Chairman and Past Chairman. He has helped develop many of the BMS messages used by companies today and promoted the use of CIECA standards throughout the industry. For his dedication to CIECA and the promotion of standards, Phil received Achievement Awards from CIECA four years in a row (1999-2002).

Pete Tagliapietra is the founder and employee owner of NuGen IT Inc. His knowledge base and insight into the various industry market segments comes primarily from his many years of employment in collision repair, property and casualty insurance management. He was also a senior executive for a prominent automotive aftermarket information provider. Throughout his career, Pete has also been active in several industry associations including I-CAR, VICA, CIECA, CIC and most recently with SCRS.
 
Pete is currently in a leadership role at NuGen IT and directly involved with the design of a new generation of software workflow tools for the collision repair and property and casualty insurance industries. The insight that Pete offers leads to the development of business information tools that bring the various industry segments together to function in more collaborative ways.
 
Pete completed his college education majoring in Industrial Arts Education. Later, he participated in the Thomson Corporation MBA Program for the most promising executives at Columbia University.
Robert Turchan

Robert has been an industry leader in developing and implementing advanced technology solutions for the collision repair business. Robert has co-developed PC based and Linux based applications and has a unique understanding of both the collision business and computer technology. 

Robert is a principal of Pride Collision Centers in Los Angeles California with six operations that repair over 10,000 cars a year.   Pride Collision Centers serves the local community and uses CIECA tools to service 23 Automobile franchises, half a dozen Insurance companies and over 6000 individual car owners.

Mr. Turchan was one of six original founders of Caliber Collision Centers and assisted in developing Calibers’ technology offering in its early days.

Robert co-chaired the CIECA Parts and Materials Procurement committee.

Michael Naoom
Safelite Solutions, LLC - Michael Naoom
 
Mike Naoom has served in various roles within the automotive service and collision industry for over 20 years. He began his automotive career in 1996 in dealer fixed operations managing Toyota service and body shops in several Sarasota area locations. During this time, Mike also taught several I-CAR courses including Measuring, Refinish, and Heating & Cooling after attaining his ASE Master Collision Certification. In 2001, he joined Nationwide insurance as a Field Claims Adjuster. Over the next 13 years, he served in various roles including teaching at Nationwide’s National Training Center, leading several state’s centralized DRP operations, claims project management and finally leading the Centralized Total Loss Operations in Columbus, Ohio.
 
In 2013, Mike joined Audatex as Director of Professional Services leading the company’s team of Strategic Account Managers, consulting the company’s clients on their metrics and aiding in the development of new products. Mike joined Safelite Solutions in 2016 as AVP, Claims Experience where he is responsible for auto claims product development strategy and implementation. He joined the CIECA Board of Trustees in 2017 and is the current secretary.
Steve Meulemans

Steve has over 25 years of experience working in the P&C Insurance industry at State Farm   He has operational leadership experience in Auto and Fire Claims, Human Resources, as well as Enterprise Claims project and transformational work coordination.  In his current position, he has responsibility for the Claims Vendor Management and Strategy Office, Claim Business Technology and Forecasting & Scheduling areas.  
 
Steve has enjoyed the opportunity to work in a number of different locations across the country, beginning his career in Portland, OR, moving to Olympia, WA, San Francisco, CA, and Philadelphia, PA.  
He is committed to personal development and has earned the CPCU, ChFC, AIC, AIU, and SCLA designations as well as becoming a Certified Scrum Master.  Steve received a Bachelor’s degree from Portland State University. 
 
Steve is very passionate about leadership and helping people reach their full potential.  He also is very involved in his community and currently is the Chair of the Junior Achievement McLean Country Advisory Board.    
 
Steve and his wife, Julie have one daughter, Kate (21 years old).  
Charles Dillard
SCRS - Charles Dillard
 
Charles first started working in the autobody industry in 1988 as the bookkeeper for a shop that worked mostly on higher end vehicles.  During Charles’s 30 years in the industry he has worked mostly in the back ground helping body shop owners achieve continued growth.  Today he is the CFO for Precision Body & Paint, a three-shop operation in Oregon also repairing higher end vehicles.    Charles attends SCRS and CIC conferences on a regular basis, listening and obtaining knowledge of what is transpiring in the Auto Collision Industry to help the owner of Precision Body & Paint, Ron Reichen, remain current and compliant with the ever-changing challenges of repairing today’s vehicles. 
 
Charles was involved with a special project for CIECA back in 2007 for which he received the Outstanding Contribution Award.  Charles is very honored to have been asked by the SCRS board to be the SCRS representative on the CIECA Board.
