Deliverables The Glass Committee deliverables are: · Implementation guides for: 1. The Glass Assignment 2. The Glass Invoice 3. The Glass Remittance Advice 4. The Functional Acknowledgement 5. The Informational Acknowledgements · Aggregates and Elements to be added to the BMS to support these implementation guides. · Code Tables and Codes to be added to the CIECA Code Table used by the BMS.
The Committee’s first deliverable will be the BMS additions needed for the Assignment. This will be delivered to the Architecture committee as the Glass Committee’s recommendations for BMS inclusions.
The second deliverable will be the Glass Assignment Implementation Guide followed by the Invoice Implementation Guide.
The committee will then determine further deliverables.

Risk or Barrier Assessment The ability of the industry to embrace the use of the XML message is necessary. Traditional EDI users must be willing to and have the resources to move to XML messaging. There must be a sufficient number of trading partners available and a ROI that warrants the investment and encourages participation.
Trading partners that are willing to participate in time consuming and potentially costly Piloting Projects will be required for the project’s success.
