EMS Standards
The CIECA EMS Standards were developed in 1994 and have been end-of-life since 2006.
We strongly encourage all companies to use the BMS or API Standards for new development projects.
We continue to make this standard available for members who are supporting legacy implementations.
Unsupported Product
The EMS Standards are no longer supported and have been end-of-life since 2006. They are available here for CIECA members who have existing implementations.
Intended Usage
The EMS was developed to facilitate the exchange of information from an estimating system to a shop management system. It was not intended for use outside the body shop.
